Redundant Barn to Stunning Home Stanton Andrews Architects really enjoyed working with the owners on this fantastic barn conversion. A glass bridge spans the double-height space links the firstfloor bedrooms, ensuring that the sense of openness and height is maintained. Stanton Andrews Architects have used a restrained palete, with natural materials such as oak, stone, steel and glass but with a contemporary twist, complementing the clients' furniture and collections. Cathy and Rob approached us with a challenge - converting a derelict and discarded barn in a fantastic setting. Previous attempts hod floundered, but we could see the potential. We listened to our clients' hopes and needs and come up with a range of options that made the most of the building and its rural location. Fundamental to the Success is the combination of the barm's character with a modern contemporary home. Stanton Andrews Architects was formed in 2006 by two enfhusiastic architects, and it has since built a reputation for both excellent design and great service. If you have an idea for a property that you would like to chat to us about, we would be hoppy to hear from you.
