About

The history of Bury Market dates back to the 15th Century and a Market Charter granted by King Henry VI, but the current site occupied since the 1970’s has everything a modern shopper would expect.  On the Full Market Days of Wednesday, Friday and Saturday the Market is home to over 350 stalls selling all manner of goods and produce and when combined with the neighbouring Mill Gate and nearby Rock Shopping Centres, Bury offers a fantastic array of shops and leisure activities which has seen the Town’s retail offer ranked as one of the Top 10 in the whole of the North West.
